A report from the surgeon general indicates that nearly two-thirds of all people with diagnosable mental disorders do not seek treatment – even though mental disorders are legitimate illnesses that are responsive to specific treatments.

Depression is one of the most common mental illnesses, affecting more then 19 million Americans each year, with women experiencing depression at a rate nearly twice that of men. One study conducted by the World Health Organization found that depression was the leading cause of disability in developed countries.

Stress-related disorders include many instances of high blood pressure, migraine and tension headaches, and peptic ulcer as well as many other problems. It is commonly estimated that as much as 50-80% of physician visits are associated with stress related problems.
If you, or a loved one are suffering from depression or stress, we can help. We’ll teach you about the causes, and train you in specific ways to reduce depression and stress, to get you back on your feet and end the suffering.
