Philosophy of
Training:
The primary training method is experiential
and includes socialization into the profession
of psychology. Training is augmented by mentoring,
didactic exposure, role-modeling, observational/vicarious
learning, use of the two-way mirror, and supervision
and consultation. We are a small organization
and interns/practicum students receive a great
deal of individual mentoring and support.
We are committed to ensuring that intern or
trainee’s service delivery tasks and
duties are primarily learning oriented, and
that training considerations take precedence. |
